Title: MD: I-70 Minor Issues
Post by: Markkos1992 on December 17, 2019, 07:58:37 pm
1.  I want to note that the MD 615 line does end up south of I-70/US 40.
2.  I want to note that the MD 17 line ends up north of I-70 briefly southeast of the interchange. (where MD 17 should remain south of I-70)
3.  The concurrency with US 40 is broken as US 40 has *I-70(54) while I-70 does not.  (Looking further, it seems to be the result of removing this point on I-70 (http://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=2946.msg13374#msg13374) so it should be removed from US 40.)

MD US40 I-70(54) is in use. I had overlooked the other thread & need to catch up, but I would support instead adding the closed point back to I-70 with whatever waypoint label is appropriate.
It should be noted that on I-70 itself, 54A is in use, but still not plain 54.

Nothing a little shaping point won't fix!

Also, hey, the south end of MD 615 really should have a graph connection with I-70 shouldn't it? Now it shall.

Fixed by adding a couple shaping points to I-70.

Well that's a whoopsie.

I agree with yakra that since *I-70(54) is in use that removing it (or making it the label for the new exit 54 location) would not be ideal. That said I like that on I-70 it was possible to put 54 in the currently correct location since it wasn't in use and am not inclined to undo that.

So, point added back to I-70, named "*Old54".
