Title: NY: NY 33 at NY 19
Post by: formulanone on March 04, 2020, 03:05:24 pm
Just drove on NY 33 to clinch NY 33A today, and noticed that Waypoint 32 for NY 262 at NY 33 (http://travelmapping.net/hb/?units=miles&u=formulanone&r=ny.ny033&lat=43.076223&lon=-77.944018&zoom=16) shouldn't exist.

Former alignment, perhaps?

Weird. That point snuck in in a commit (https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/commit/631cc70de36dd2d867e0f1db4df84091a01a9a36#diff-6090e204b9c9071ff6044fa6b3d1ee2dR33) that was otherwise mostly automated NMP fixes. ...with some other manual fixes made too.
Snip-o-ree!
Oh boy, and somebody's actually using that point. Only to the adjacent point though. NY18 was probably intended, though I shouldn't assume; can't be sure. I'll just break the .list & allow the traveler to add that 0.37 mi back in when the error shows up in his log.
