I think it is the first French departement system with more than 1,000 TM routes.

franorm76 - Métropole Rouen Normandie Routes Métropolitaines are not yet signed according to 2020 GSV and nothing is indicated on OSM.

Only D numbers on OSM+GM. Only yellow D signs on November 2023 GSV. However, wikisara (https://routes.fandom.com/wiki/M%C3%A9tropole_Rouen_Normandie#Anciennes_nationales) has a route list. They indicate a similar "remain number" rule like we have for Lyon (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=3627.msg36938#msg36938), e.g.:
Quote
Since January 1, 2016, the part of this road located in the Rouen Normandy Metropolis has been reclassified as a metropolitan road while retaining its former name, M67.
Why retain M? Retain D would make sense  :pan: Should I go for it anyway? Thoughts?

Edit: Same situation for Bordeaux (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=4870.msg36960#msg36960) (unsigned), Rennes (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=4758.msg36941#msg36941), Tours and Orléans (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=4787.msg36959#msg36959).
