There's a signed US 14 business route from US 14 in Dodge Center MN that's apparently not in the browser.
-
I've seen it, but it's not state-maintained and I've never gotten an accurate rendering of its routing, hence why it isn't in the browser yet.
-
I'll go out and drive it today then. That way I'll have every auxiliary 14 west of Wisconsin clinched and we'll know the correct routing.
-
The route follows MN 56 north from US 14 to CSAH 34, CSAH 34 east to CSAH 1, CSAH 1 south back to US 14. The only shields on the route are where it changes roads.
It'll require a new point on MN 56 at CSAH 34, it appears.
-
CSAH 1 is in Claremont. Did you mean CSAH 25 (what Google labels as Airport Dr)?
-
Yes -- OSM has it signed incorrectly then.
-
Probably because the roadway to the south of US 14 is CR I (Eye, as in the letter).
-
That's probably it then; I saw a few other County Letter routes in the general area.
-
Dodge County is the only Minnesota county I can think of offhand that signs its non-State-Aid county routes with letters.
-
I want to say I saw one or two in southern Olmstead County, but I think you're correct.
-
Olmsted uses 3-digit routes for its non-State-Aid county routes. If you saw a lettered route in Olmsted County, it was likely a township route (yes, some townships "number" their roads, but it's pretty rare overall).
-
Do we need more info on non-AASHTO US 14 Bus?
-
I want to do my own field check first (which I hope to do in the next couple weeks while I'm out in MN).
-
Field-checked Thursday. Route being added today.
