So I took a quick jaunt down to the Front Range last weekend (which was a horrible mistake, but that's not the point here) and drove by the west end of CO 263 in Greeley. I was going to clinch it, but there was some construction closures and it was only marked as "E 8th St" on the construction signs. There was still 263 signage on US 85, but I don't think there was any on the route itself, as far as one could tell driving by at 9:30 PM. Additionally, it doesn't show up on the CO data explorer: https://dtdapps.coloradodot.info/otis/HighwayData (https://dtdapps.coloradodot.info/otis/HighwayData)
I feel like it's been decommissioned and I should axe it, but I want to see what other people think.

This sounds like a similar situation to DE 34 (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=2940.0) a couple years ago. I guess we are on a wait-and-see approach here.

I should be back in Greeley sometime soon, so whenever I go down I'll field-check again (unless someone else gets there before I do).

It appears that SH 263 was removed from the system and turned over to the city in 2018: https://www.codot.gov/about/transportation-commission/approved-resolutions/2018-approved-resolutions/october-2018/tc-res-2018-10-03-hwy-263-devolution.pdf

So it took them 2 years to get rid of the signs. Nice! I'll take care of that next round of updates.

The US 85 label for CO 263 will need to be renamed as well.
