Just drove TX Spr 471 this weekend, and there were no Spur 471 signs to be seen. All guide & reassurance shields showed it as FM 471. GSV shows the same: https://www.google.com/maps/@29.4941091,-98.6193592,3a,37.8y,231.35h,82.72t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sYNzl5qQRoIiHB7qPzQYYSQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192
Not sure what you want to do with this, but wanted to bring it to your attention. Bummer since I went out of my way to clinch it at the expense of other new mileage. :'(

It used to be part of FM4711:
Minute Order 114165, dated 12/18/2014; DesLtr 4-2014, dated 03/02/2015
In the city of Leon Valley, a segment of FM 471 was redesignated as SS 471, from the Leon Valley west city limit eastward to SH 16, a distance of approximately 1.0 mile. (Bexar County) PNew Designation: Due to Redesignation of Other Route
Minute Order 114165, dated 12/18/2014; DesLtr 4-2014, dated 03/02/2015
Upon the issuance of the Project Acceptance Letter for project CSJ 0849-01-047, FM 471 will be removed from the state highway system from SL 1604 eastward to Leon Valley city limit, a distance of 5.0 miles; control, jurisdiction and maintenance will be transferred to the city of San Antonio.
Looks like the locals just haven't gotten round to changing the signage over.
oing to leave as-is.

Makes sense. Didn't realize the changes in designation were so recent. Thanks.

I think this should be marked solved, shouldn't it?
