It was just reported on AARoads that it will open Friday.

The article linked in the AARoads post is paywalled. I read the article with a temporary login, but it doesn't provide the details we need.
I drove I-73/74 through the construction zone Thursday evening. The partially-covered new signage suggests:
-- the exit numbers on I-73/74 for the new US 64 interchange will be 70A-B
-- the old route through Asheboro will be signed as Business US 64.
I might go back down there after the bypass opens, but not until after Christmas.

This post should help due to videos showing signage though the ends are a problem here.

You don't need an account. All you need is 'NoScript' for Firefox. Have that addon installed, go look at the link in a private window, and boom. No 'temp login' needed. ;)

US 64 Bus Asheboro file is created
US 64 rerouted onto the bypass (youtube had all exit numbers except the west end which I took an educated guess)
NC 159 rerouted onto Zoo Parkway segment from NC 159 Spur to the Zoo Connector
In my queue for submission...

There's a waypoint for exit 70 (to the new Asheboro bypass) from I-74Hig, but not from I-73. This breaks the concurrency between I-73 and I-74Hig.

corrected and in the queue

Based on the latest video linked to AARoads Forum, the exit numbers on US 64 are fully correct.

It looks like a point was added for the new exit 70 for the Asheboro Bypass on NC I-74Hig but not on NC I-73. I had just made adjustments to our file to handle the new bypass and noticed our NC Interstate total jump up, but none of the individual interstates had increased. So, I think there is some double counting happening now.
Looking forward to seeing the bypass, probably sometime in the next month. I've also heard there is another segment of I-840 about to open in Greensboro, so waiting for that as well.

Oops! Guess I didn't scroll up enough. So Oscar beat me to it. :-)

Still a loose end -- the 70 waypoint on I-73 was synched to I-74hig's 70 waypoint, which is in High Point more than 20 miles northwest of Asheboro, and is nowhere near I-73. Should be synched instead to I-74hig's 70(73) waypoint, or the identical coordinates for US 220's 70(73) waypoint.
