OSM has been showing SC 18 in its final alignment for a while (as shown here (http://www.85widening.com/pdf/I-85-exit-95-public.pdf)).
I am attempting to contact SCDOT on this from the I-85 website and will see if they respond.

Of course, then someone goes in and edits OSM (https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/101665374). The 2/25/2020 date on the change makes me wonder if this change was correct.
SCDOT responded to me via email, and I responded to their email to confirm this. My thoughts are that SC 18 was put in its final alignment a bit early here.

GSV was recently updated and it definitely still shows SC 18 on the original alignment (https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0999539,-81.6276499,3a,75y,159.14h,80.51t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sQBFD6APMjQuN6vgdOIcM6w!2e0!7i16384!8i8192).
EDIT (10-20-2021): And now OSM shows SC 18 in its final alignment again.....
EDIT (11-5-2021): The edit in OSM using Shelby Highway states, "Fixed roads, Removed roads that were razed around Cherokee County SC in response of openings of Interstate 85 New Interchanges," so I guess this is good to go forward on.
