I’ve driven through the District of Columbia retracing current and “old” routes (old is played for laughs) and with DDOT’s reputation for not signing the routes notwithstanding, One has to rely on the goog or OSM (which, btw, conflict with each other). US 29 is well signed as DC had recently put up new signage for it, while 50 and to a greater extent 1 seriously lack signage especially around the national mall. 1A is not signed at all in DC (but signed beautifully in Maryland) I may put in a pull for US-29 to add shaping points based on the accurate field check but I hesitate at this time without logs to adjust 1 or 50 (neither of which have a zig-zag). This pull will go in no earlier than 9/1 as I’m on the road still. There is no assigned maintainer for DC.

I just checked and everything with 1, 29, and 50 is correct with official sources. 29 follows 11th between K St and Rhode Island Ave, while 1 and 50 use 6th St north of Constitution. The oddity points on US 1 (at US50_W) and US 29 (at RhoIslAve_E) are because of left turn prohibitions...so southbound US 1 uses 15th south of Constution while northbound 29 uses 6th St between Rhode Island and Florida.
I don't see the need for either shaping points or changing any of the lists.

Yeah, I had recently (within the last three years) looked into US 50 and US 29 in DC as part of myself clinching these routes. I see no reason to change anything at the moment.
Threads are included here (US 29 (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=2884.0) and US 50/US 1/US 1 ALT (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=4173.0)) for context.
