Title: QC: Short part of QC 185 shifted to future A-85 alignment
Post by: oscar on December 21, 2021, 03:21:13 am
A 3.4km segment of QC 185 (future part of Autoroute 85) was last month slightly realigned and twinned (https://www.transports.gouv.qc.ca/fr/salle-de-presse/nouvelles/Pages/A-85-premier-troncon-ouvre-saint-antonin.aspx). Photos reposted on AARoads show a new exit 60 (QC 291) on the new alignment, but no A-85 markers. (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=2353.msg2691223#msg2691223) MTQ's online mapping shows the new segment remains part of QC 185 for now. Construction is expected to begin next year on more new segments, which would connect the segment that opened last month to existing A-85.

I've drafted revised route files for QC 185, concurrent TCH (Main), and intersecting QC 291 to reflect the new exit number and tweaked alignment. They're in my queue to be pulled in once the pile grows taller.
