Title: GA: I-285 57 Point
Post by: Markkos1992 on March 05, 2022, 02:55:02 pm
Should 57 be 58A (https://www.google.com/maps/@33.642509,-84.3747338,3a,75y,231.24h,67.15t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sGN6xS2kB2_C4XVvmS3LUTg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192)?  I saw no evidence that Exit 57 is posted.

An interesting case. Technically, there is no exit 57.  Per the official exit list from GDOT, US 41/US 19 is part of the larger exit 58 with I-75.  But, how would a user show they exited highway at US 41 rather than I-75 without either an exit 57 (conforms to mileage and old exit number before collector ramps added) or a made up exit 58A?

Agree with kjslaughter. It's a full interchange in its own right, just sharing the C/D roads. No changes to be made here.

Our exit labels don't always exactly match what's posted in the field, due to things like this.

I guess it is not really a concern if it was Exit 57 previously.  I really wish they would have done something like this (https://www.google.com/maps/@38.3509691,-77.4803099,3a,75y,248.8h,95.59t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sIxA3vOwE3Gt6xJjOFjg-5w!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3DIxA3vOwE3Gt6xJjOFjg-5w%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D293.22806%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192) instead.
