Title: NC: Blue Ridge Parkway, NC 16

Due to a multiyear bridge replacement, the Blue Ridge Parkway is detoured on NC 18, NC 88, NC 16 and Trading Post Road to the Northwest Trading Post. The intersection on the Parkway for Trading Post Road should have a waypoint for entering the Parkway from the detour. NC 16 should have a corresponding waypoint a Trading Post Road.

How new is this detour?  I am wondering if I saw it when I was clinching US 221 in this area back in May.

The NPS site has the detour from June 2022 to Nov 2024.

It looks like the shaping point north of the new TraPostRd point on the Blue Ridge Pkwy could be replaced by a visible point at Cherry Hill Rd.
