Title: TN: New route TN-459 & TN-200 reroute
Post by: rickmastfan67 on December 07, 2023, 09:46:56 pm
Just was randomly looking @ TN-22, and scrolled past Lexington and noticed there was a 'new bypass' there.  Was thinking, oh no, did somebody add a fake road, because there was no sign of it on the imagery layers.

So, pop into GSV around were the eastern end was suppose to be, and wow, it's 100% real and open!  It's not visible from the US-412 end, but shown as fully open on the TN-22 end complete with signage for the new TN route.

GSV even traveled the new route for awhile!

With this new TN-459 route, TN-200 was also rerouted to end @ it now, instead of @ TN-22A.

Routes that will need adjustments:
US-412
TN-200
TN-22A
TN-22

Thanks for finding that. I'll treat the TN 200 guide signs along 22A as if they're missing TO banners. Changes made in my local copy.

Just noticed after the update was pulled in, but the update entry for TN-22A mentions a point 'OldTN22A', which is hidden in the file, instead of being visible and usable. Might want to fix that.

Also, maybe move the one shaping point in TN-459 to the intersection of 'Old Jackson Road' that almost right beside it?

Yep, switched + for * there. Fixed in my local copy. As for Old Jackson Road, I don't see any particular value added by creating a visible point there.

Only mentioned due to it being super close to the hidden point.  I always prefer using a named road and making it usable instead of having a hidden point if at all possible.
