Title: NJ: NJ 42 exit 12

There are separate onramps (both directions) from both NJ 41 and CR 544, and splitting the point into 12 and 12A would allow for a graph connection with NJ 41.

This meets neither the 1/2 mile gap nor the "each half connects" criteria, so it gets one central point.
IMO sometimes a lot of us put too much emphasis on making graph connections; I'll often be more conservative in that regard.
