A bridge about half a mile north of LA 157's southern end has been closed since at least 2018. According to LA DOTD's 511la.org website, "The LA-157 bridge (Bridge Structure Number 040800820100551) over Flat River in Bossier Parish is permanently closed."
DOTD has placed dead end signs south of the closed bridge (https://www.google.com/maps/@32.3274739,-93.5240364,3a,75y,24.95h,89.52t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1ss5Do5wA9OQh46Ct-vjK1CQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu)
Should LA 157 be split into two segments?
