Monitoring this, but I don't think anything is needed until there's actually an exit there. AFAICT, I-69 hasn't been extended yet. KYTC hasn't updated their maps.

Hopefully changing the topic title to Future I-69 prevents confusion.

In preparation of the new I-69 river crossing, US-41 has been rerouted to the new the new I-69 alignment between "KY351" & "US60/41Alt". This can be seen as open in the 'ESRI World Imagery' layer. Two new 'closed' points will be required for US-41, as this is a decent reroute.
OSM also claims that the road is now also I-69 up & open to US-60, but I'm not sure about this part. The only safe thing to do is the US-41 reroute above for sure.

I drove through there Thursday, and yeah there was no indication that this was I-69.

Was the new highway up to US-60 open yet, or is it another case of OSM jumping the gun?

The imagery you reference is correct. I did not even think to check whether the new highway was actually open to US 60; however, my photos show the ramp from US 41 SB to I-69 NB as closed.

I thought Markkos had started a topic about this already. Regardless, when the segment to US 60 is opened, I'll address this. Until then, there's nothing to do here.

Doing it all in one go when the trumpet actually becomes a junction seems sensible.

Yeah I had. I was not thinking about it trying to get myself out of my hotel this morning.

Still, US-41 got a major rerouting already. You can see the removal of the old 4-lane segment in the imagery. Sure, the trumpet might not be open towards US-60, but US-41 has a major physical reroute here.
