This will result in a realignment of the intersection at the north end of the French Creek Pkwy. Expected completion is in Fall 2025.

That press release is all over. So... they're going to move all traffic into the westbound lanes to reconstruct the westbound lanes? What? And then it speaks to northern and southern sides of a north-south road.

US 6/US 19 is north-south through this section. I guess District 1 does not want to commit to using either north-south or west-east directions, but the two-lane alignment will be in the current westbound/southbound lanes.
Anyway the only impact here will be the Baldwin Street Extension intersection at the north end.

Route 6 Reconstruction – Reconfiguring and reconstructing the roadway from Mead Avenue to Baldwin Street Extension in the City of Meadville and West Mead Township. Work will also include upgrades at three intersections, drainage upgrades, construction of a new multi-use trail, and right-of-way fence removal; $16.7 million. Started in 2024. Work to be completed in 2025.
