At FM 1472, what we have as TX 255 is signed as such only going eastbound. It is consistently (https://www.google.com/maps/@27.7104548,-99.7289564,3a,16.1y,191.99h,92.5t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sQcS_A4uAbI-H36xD6fJzmA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?authuser=0&coh=205409&entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI0MTAwOS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D) signed (https://www.google.com/maps/@27.7094206,-99.7294414,3a,15y,263.46h,90.05t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sapy9mGIRMjEPZgX1KhhFqQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?authuser=0&coh=205409&entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI0MTAwOS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D) as FM 255 heading westbound. Weird. FM255 (http://www.dot.state.tx.us/tpp/hwy/ur/ur0255.htm) was supposedly redesignated as an extension of TX255 (http://www.dot.state.tx.us/tpp/hwy/sh/sh0255.htm) in 2005.
We can add this to the growing number of changes listed in the designation files that have never shown up on the ground.
Though unlike TXLp286 (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=6377), this one actually had a minute order (https://publicdocs.txdot.gov/minord/MinuteOrderDocLib/3691886.pdf).

Good news for formulanone: they'll have a 100% clinch of the truncated route!
(with the exception of a lone BGS on I-35 SB (https://www.google.com/maps/@27.8392863,-99.408355,3a,39.4y,221.47h,95.84t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sk8beEZhYI5TrV84p6dtqow!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3Dk8beEZhYI5TrV84p6dtqow%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D289.61008%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192?authuser=0&coh=205409&entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI0MTAwOS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D)).
And the same thing facing the opposite direction. Between `13 & `18, the Toll 255 shield was replaced with FM255 (whoops, guess TXDOT whiffed it on that one) and the "Toll Road" legend was replaced with just "Road". SB there used to a "Monterrey, Mex" legend that was removed, presumably in a sign replacement after it got all stove up (https://www.google.com/maps/@27.8393115,-99.4083476,3a,75y,220.45h,89.49t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sc3SkPl_UpA0EY1dbdASFYQ!2e0!5s20230301T000000!7i16384!8i8192?authuser=0&coh=205409&entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI0MTAwOS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D). NB never had one. Shrug.
