Title: CO: CO-21/US-24 missing interchange
Post by: rickmastfan67 on November 12, 2024, 07:54:28 pm
This is between the two point along the multiplex.

There was a sole on-ramp to NB CO-21/EB US-24 for quite some time there.  However, it seems like now they are fully building out the interchange there to remove the at-grade intersection with Airport Road. (GSV (https://maps.app.goo.gl/aAHTmE7geFPVXSL8A))

Only thing I don't know for sure is if they're going to 'officially' reroute Airport Road to the interchange once they close the at-grade intersection, or if the new road is going to be an extension of Stewart Avenue instead.  Or it might be half/half.

So, you're choice on how you'd want to name it (probably will get an exit number once opened fully however).  But since that one ramp is already there and open, recommend at least adding the point in now centered on where the overpass will be.

Looks like they are rerouting Airport Rd.

Since right now that ramp is the continuation of Stewart Ave., I'll add a "SteAve" point roughly where the interchange will be, and then rename/readjust the point once the project is finished if necessary.
