Title: Austria fixes
Post by: neroute2 on April 20, 2025, 10:41:14 pm
B145 interchange between A1 and L1263
B317 interchange (single offramp) between 29 and L62
B2 interchange (single offramp) between B38 and B34_S
B2 cannot be followed between B34_S and B4/B34. I understand the bypass east of B34_S needs to be mapped as B2, but it should probably be either split or overlap B34 with a spur east to B4_S.
B178 interchange between L272_UnkS and L272_UnkN

I don't see an issue. Keep as-is.

Can I get more eyes on this? I'd think that a route should be followable from end to end.

More fixes:
B139 interchange between L1390a and RanStr
L1294-4 looks to be discontinuous
B180 interchange between L19 and L65_Tos
B189 interchange between B171_Ims and L246

I see no advantage if it would be "followable". I think it's fine as-is. We had B2 via B34 and a B2AST* but I've changed it two years ago (https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/commit/049067e44277929f10e03841155a3f442a809761#diff-d7b3040ed87fc09e459717672abf953b99e2babf77e45973be9ca2bba431d553L26-R28).

*AST is kinda branch. I suggested the AST thing almost ten years ago. I widely used it in Germany and Austria. Si agreed on that. Then, I didn't like that German thing anymore. I tried to get rid off them. Mainly using a 'city' (or town/village) name instead. Or removed them if they were just ramps.

L1294-4 looks to be discontinuous

So what. It's still dedicated as L road. See https://www.land-oberoesterreich.gv.at/37083.htm or attachment. It's only a bikeway now (= Radweg).

There are also two routes in Bavaria that are dedicated as state routes but not open for traffic:

And this in Austria:
