The short route KY535 is unsigned. GMSV doesn't give much of an idea of when this happened, somewhere between 2008 and 2024. I understand any hesitance to remove unsigned routes in Kentucky, since some minor routes become unsigned and resigned at a whim, and the sheer number of routes is difficult to keep track of. On one hand, this is still on Bell County's route logs, so it has not been decommissioned, and it was signed at some point. On the other hand, it feels almost purposefully unsigned, as there is no evidence of missing signage, no empty posts anywhere, and KY535 is not all that significant, being a 0.6 mile route to Fonde, more a placename than a town. Do as you choose.

Thanks for the update. I noticed this a few years ago and reported it to KYTC, and they said it should be signed and they would get to it. Evidently not (or someone is collecting signs). I'll check with them again and remove it if they confirm it's not supposed to have signage.

While KY 535 is a rural local road with low ADT, it is still designated a state-maintained route and should have route markers. We will get them reinstalled.
Thank you for notifying us of this issue.
and
I will have a crew to install the rt markers for this rt on 6/3/25 . We have a lot of problems with signage in that area we have to replace the stop sign on Ky 535 every other month . we have put those rt markers up a couple of times .
