Title: UT 228 south end
Post by: mapcat on June 23, 2025, 10:33:55 pm
The location of the south end (I-15(22)) is wonky, due to the split placement of the southbound entrance and northbound exit ramps. To me it doesn't seem necessary to have the separate segment south of the CemRd point (just 1PPI it, do a graph connection, and call that point I-15(22)), but if the extra segment truly is important, it seems that it should end where it intersects with the exit ramp. FWIW I-15 only has one point for Exit 22, and all users who have driven UT 228 have clinched it.

Per HRO, the roads to both ramps are part of UT 228 (of course...) though the fork to the southbound onramp lacks any UT 228 signage to justify adding it as a separate segment.

Meanwhile it looks like about 2500 feet between the two ramps. That is under half a mile, albeit barely, which means yes this meets the criteria for 1PPI.
