Title: CA: I-5 exit number issues
Post by: rickmastfan67 on July 13, 2025, 04:01:58 pm: ?? -> ParkBlvd (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ggAdaCu9WvztL9Nj8) - has a SB on-ramp here to the CA-136 ramp that connects to SB I-5. Probably a justifiable point to add.
23C -> 23 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Jdx4ySSb5FKeijdu5) since this is the only SB off-ramp here, and both NB exits use the 'A/B' letters, we should use the signed number here too.
107 -> 106 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Svyca3YAmA8jyk8u5) - if we're going to use the NB exit numbers here for the 107 area, then we should use be using '106' instead, but I can see why '107' was chosen, since it's 107A/B going SB.
119 -> recenter. Seems overpass was replaced to the west of the old one.
133 -> recenter (https://maps.app.goo.gl/YoQK24YnfUqj3JcC9). We have this exit way too far north @ the wrong road. Where we currently have it centered, those are the ramps from US-101 Exit 1 (see separate thread on this (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=7068.0)). We should have this centered on Grande Vista Ave instead.
missing -> US101 (see separate thread on this (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=7068.0))
137 -> 137A
missing -> 137B (https://maps.app.goo.gl/3fkzy3JSLoAactQb9) (for Riverside Dr, even though signed for Figueroa Street).
147 -> 147B (https://maps.app.goo.gl/gNoYgRMDjuTNFQCA9) - interchange area reconfigured from former 147A/147B setup. However, instead of getting 147, retained the '147B' number both directions on I-5 (SB (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Nxy37LXHC2TcNmyE8)). Also needs recentered.
161B -> recenter - should be @ San Fernando Road (https://maps.app.goo.gl/eUSte8RtryUj9Jnu8) overpass instead of where we currently have it, since it's signed for it, and the off-ramp goes directly to it.
161C -> I-5Trk_S
163 -> I-5Trk_N (I can't find any signage, current or historical, showing 163 being posted)
NEW -> 527 - Metro Air Pkwy (https://maps.app.goo.gl/vBB4k4k7Xjh9BnJHA) Opened between Feb '21 & Feb '22.
667 -> 667A (https://maps.app.goo.gl/m8VZawuKHQ3xhZag6)
+x82 -> recenter on highway
+X200645 & +X268522 should be adjusted. Shifting them should gain a good amount of mileage here. If adjusted to what I have below, will gain over 0.2 miles and more accurately map that area of I-5 without adding any new points.
