The change aligns with the reconstruction of the interchange in 2021. The exit ramp does diverge slightly earlier now going northbound; not sure if that played a role in the decision or not.

Berkeley Street was also changed, less dramatically, to Exit 122A from Exit 122, to allow for the new suffixed exit number at Thorne.
