Supposedly,  the Caltrans postmile tool no longer does recognize the Golden Gate Bridge or exit 439 as part of US 101 per that post.

I'm not sure it ever did. This is a very old issue, addressed (in favor of keeping US 101 and CA 1 intact) as part of the revamp that among other things brought exit numbers to the route files for US 101 and other US routes in California.

I'd selfishly prefer the shift westward to Viewtown Road, as the small market at that intersection had been my turnaround point on that trip. SR730 seems a fine waypoint too, though that road seems considerably more local that SR642. Either way, I'd concur with removing CouLn and can easily incorporate an update.

Is there any way that I can help with the FM/RM systems, such as peer-review?

The system is not yet ready for a peer-review since it's not in preview status. It's even not in devel status! yakra only created route files. I don't know how mature those routes files are.

yakra did not do much on this system in recent years, and is less active for TM for months now. I think we need to be very, very, very patient.... or think about other options...

165 -> 164 -- This was originally brought up in an older thread, however stuff has now changed in the field.  The SB 165 signage has been changed to 164 between Jun '16 & Sept '22. IMO, this now can allow it to be changed to 164 since NB signage still is 164 & now both sides agree.
missing -> *495A Fulton Road - Closed between Apr '13 & Sept '14, but probably should be in the file.

Is there any way that I can help with the FM/RM systems, such as peer-review? I'm not particularly adept at web design, but I am a quick learner.

I can't speak to those systems, but I can say that you wouldn't need to know about web design, just the site manual and peer review procedures.  Systems need to be in Preview status to be peer reviewed, but you can learn how to review by reading this page.  It has very detailed instructions that I have found useful.  You can also practice using the waypoint editor to check waypoints for existing routes.

Let's throw in a crinkle to the 'postmile' thing here.  Are we going to 'remove' and make a gap in both US-101/CA-1 along the Golden Gate Bridge?

This reminds me of the Albany Skyway project where we ended up doing nothing based on how US 9 NB was rerouted.  I definitely would not put the point in the center of the post office, but I could see moving the Elkhorn Ave point between Moraine Ave and Ivy Street.

Adding a point on US 36 at the roundabout at the south end of the loop could be useful just to split the difference there.

That's what I was originally thinking of doing (along with other point cleanup in the area). If no one has any concerns with the eastbound Business 34 routing, I'll just do that.
