MO: MO 33 truncated to US 69?

I was in Liberty the other day and noticed a complete lack of signage for MO 33 at the Mill St/Leonard/Lightburne intersection. I then did some digging on GMSV and found that all references to the stretch of MO 33 between US 69 and MO 291 were gone. However, MODOT's road conditions map still has that section of 33 on there.

Any thoughts on this (or facts from someone who knows better than me)?

Went through there again and can confirm there is no signage for MO 33 at all on MO 291... now someone needs to go to US 69 and see what's up.

GMSV July 2016 on NB 33 at the south junction with 69 shows the MO 33 shield that was there in 2013 is gone.

I've sent an e-mail to the Liberty Public Works Dept. Let's see if I get an answer.

EDIT: How about that! A reply in less than an hour! Yes, MO 33 has been truncated.
