NC: NC 24 Relocation - Cumberland and Sampson Counties
« on: May 19, 2017, 10:31:39 am »
NC 24 is being upgraded from to four lanes I-95 to US-421. This includes multiple bypasses of small towns along the way. Several of these bypasses are open, but the the highway browser does not not reflect those changes. As far as I can tell, the bypassed segments of the highway are simply Old NC 24, with no new Business routes. The changes that may affect the maps in the browser include:

1. A new four lane section bypassing a small business district at Maxwell Road.
2. A new bypass of Stedman.
3. A new bypass of Autryville.
4. A bypass is being built around Roseboro.

Google satellite view shows all of these under construction.
Google maps shows only bypass number 1.
Mapnik shows none of these.

I think there were no modifications to the file since this was reported: https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/commits/master/hwy_data/NC/usanc/nc.nc024.wpt
I presume that it's still open, isn't it?

I just wonder because there is no response to the issue at all...
