WV: WV 115 Possible Extension on old WV 9 east of US 340

While looking at VA 9, I noticed that Google maps showed WV 115 being extended over the old WV 9 east of US 340.  This is also shown on this Jefferson County GIS map from WVDOT.  However, WV 115 does not seem to be posted at what would be its new eastern end at WV 9.  It is posted to continue past US 340 though.

I think that Jefferson map is more than enough to verify the extension to where it goes for sure now.  That was one of the main reasons why I didn't extend it in the first place as I didn't know where for sure it went past US-340.

So, I'll work on an update to officially extend it now when I get a chance.

Thanks for finding that, I tried to look over there but could not find anything recent and felt that it was too tedious to look through every thread.

As I recall, maps before suggested the extension but the reason we didn't include it was because it hadn't been signed yet.  If it still isn't signed, I see no reason to change things.

I've just pushed an update to extend WV-115 back to WV-9.  As far as I can tell, WV 'will' post this extension fully sometime in the future.  I mean, they did start posting it from US-340 with no other 'logical' end point other than WV-9.  Plus the Jefferson still shows this.

As I recall, it was already that way 5 years ago.  And at the time, I distinctly recall the decision was made to NOT extend WV 115 until WVDOH actually put signs up.
