I'm sure I'm not the only one who figured out where that is when they read it.  The middle of the rocket garden at Kennedy Space Center's main visitor center.

17 significant digits. Raw floating point sounds legit.

The digits after the fifth one for each coordinate are decimal places for e (after the 2.) and pi (after 3.1), respectively.
