RN14:
*I can't find any 14 signs between 7 and 8. Unless I'm missing something, that means RN7_S -> RN7, delete +X60 through +X80, and split beyond RN8_N -> RN8 to a new file (RN8Las?)

OSM and GM show it and there is no doubt about the routing. Keep as-is.

RN19:
*GIS shows that 19 turns southeast here and ending here, which makes sense given the next piece; without GMSV we have no way of knowing for sure, but the exact east end doesn't seem right given aerial photos (extend it east to the intersection, or southwest two blocks?)

New end where 19 might turn southeast - or not. We don't know for sure.

RN21:
*what's the importance of ArmSom?

Oh, what's the importance of all the wps for dirt roads in the middle of nowhere just to avoid a 10 miles distance between visible waypoints....

ArmSom is the northernmost street of the build-up area heading to Real de San Carlos.

*CarCon -> Con (street name not signed)

RadHer for Radial Hernandez, the village where the junction is, not where the crossroad leads to.

*move Def north one block to Sol, signed as a truck route
*GIS shows a two-block jog on Paraguay in northern Carmelo for locally maintained 21. Signs show northbound traffic turning left on Ansina and right on Italia. There is a similar sign at Paraguay but none for the right turn from Paraguay. Southbound traffic has no signs for the turns shown on OSM, but Google's route is signed. Here's how I'd show the route:
12Feb http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.003337&lon=-58.286086
Sol http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.001754&lon=-58.285711
Ans http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-33.989452&lon=-58.282900

The exact routing is sometimes a guess in URY. OSM + GM show the same route and that's how I've drafted it. I keep the wps as-is (only moving Def to Sol) - between the one-way streets because I think it is accurate enough.

*add CEduIra http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-33.980494&lon=-58.290807 at the other end of the truck bypass and +X571192 http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-33.958454&lon=-58.319035 for shaping

No C for Calle in CEduIra and visible wp AveNep instead of +X571192

*RioUru has no signed name and is not necessary for spacing

Yep, the new AveNep is enough for the area.

*the bypass of Dolores is locally maintained and not signed as 21 at either end, merely as a truck route. There are signs downtown. The only difference from what GIS shows as the locally maintained route northbound is that signs use Dr. Victor Bertullo instead of Manuel Oribe. Southbound signage agrees with GIS, using General Fructuoso Rivera. So here's how I'd handle Dolores:

GM also indicates the route through the town. I only add the RN96 wp, the rest would be even more guess.

RN22:
*RN106 -> Mig? I cannot find any signs for (locally maintained) 106 south of 54

Will revisit it later when I'll deal with RN106.

RN24:
*remove NueBer; traffic to Nuevo Berlin is signed via RN20_W

But I would need a shaping point instead. Keep as-is since it looks important enough.

*TresQui -> SanJav_S

Keep name of village where the junction is, see above.

RN25:
*I cannot find any 25 shields on the locally maintained portion east of Guichón. So unless I'm missing something, RN90_W -> RN90 and delete the rest.

OSM + GM indicate the route. Keep as-is.

RN26:
*move PunCar west to the other street where the bus stop is, or simply remove it

Why should I remove it? You want me to add wps for dirt roads leading to nowhere but I should remove this wp to get a more than 20 miles visible distance gap? Moved.

*Cal1 -> ToRN6 (no street name signed)

Cal1 -> Tos

*RN44_S -> FraMue (see discussion in RN7; the sign for 44 is probably an error)

To be revisited.

*RN7 -> RN7_S; change the points through Melo to:
[...]
RN8/26 http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-32.364040&lon=-54.163402

RN7_N

I've also added a wp in front of the border bridge for travelers who don't cross the border. I also do that for junctions in front of ferry terminals.

RN28:
*replace +X05 with ToRN27 http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-31.467801&lon=-55.418859

I've also added a wp for RN27 to match this.

RN29:
*RN28_N -> RN28 and delete beyond; I can't find any 29 shields east of here and it's all locally maintained

GM does not indicate it, truncated.

RN32:
*national maintenance continues south to End http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.730398&lon=-56.166825

By 0.16 miles only and end not at a junction. Don't change.

RN33:
*AveDanZun -> AvdaDanZun (but nothing is signed here)
*almost all of the GIS data shows 33 becoming 65 at +X02; there's no signage there or where you have the change

Keep as-is.

RN35:
*national maintenance begins south of the interchange; maybe add Flo at the next circle south or maybe no change

By 0.31 miles. AveSarSol added.

*LasTos -> Tos (but nothing is signed here)

Removed.

RN42:
*national maintenance ends north of Polanco del Yi, and I can't find any 42 shields north of there; replace +X07 with End http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-33.474981&lon=-56.162421 and delete everything beyond unless I'm missing a sign

OSM + GM indicate the route. Keep as-is like I did for RN25. If anyone persuades me, I need to truncate both.

RN43:
*GreFry -> BalPasoRom

RN43Gre:
*GreFry -> BalPasoRom

Ferry is Fry -> BalFry.

RN44Ans:
*according to GIS, the end of national maintenance should be at about End http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-31.818702&lon=-55.183918 ; it continues locally maintained, but partly along a very minor looking dirt road to about here

Keep End where is at the junction 0.13mi behind the sign.

RN45:
*RN79 -> 25Ago (I can't find any 79 shields on the locally maintained portion north of 78; I can't read this ancient sign but other signs in the area include 25 de Agosto)

To be revisited

*GIS shows that 45 (locally maintained) ends at Flo; I can't find any shields beyond, so delete beyond there

GM extends it to RN77 but not OSM. Truncated.

RN46:
*I can't find any shields on the locally maintained portion west of RN36, so delete from End through ToRN47

OSM + GM indicate the route. Keep as-is and put it onto the list with RN25 and RN42.

RN47:
*replace ToRN46 with a shaping point; it's unsigned and so is 46 west of 36

Cer for Los Cerrillos

RN52:
*I cannot find any signs for 52 on the locally maintained portion south of RN1, but it is signed south from 1 (to Colonia Valdense). Any of the following endpoints would make sense:
**RN1 (and ignore the sign pointing south because there's nothing indicating where it ends)
**JuanBon, where the median ends
**CJuanCar, where pavement ends

OSM + GM indicate the route. Keep as-is and put it onto the list with RN25, RN42 and RN46.

*one GIS dataset ends 52 at the south end of Cufré, while the other continues it through town to the north end. I don't know which is better, but the current end at Gua is not supported by evidence.

So, none is right, keep wp as-is in-between likely 0.4mi off to one of the possible "correct" locations.

RN54:
*GIS shows the south end at either 19 de Junio or Mario Echeverría. km posts begin at the bridge north of downtown. I see no signs at any of these, but there are signs for the end of national maintenance a bit north of 19 de Junio. Sans any other signs I missed, it should probably begin at End http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.400076&lon=-57.447220

OSM + GM indicate the route. Keep as-is and put it onto the list with RN25, RN42, RN46 and RN52.

RN62:
*CarLema has no signs and is a minor road; replace with EscRur34 http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.488501&lon=-56.292422 ?

I don't see a big difference in importance but CarLema serves the village with more houses. Keep as-is.

RN63:
*GIS shows national maintenance continuing past RN11 to Boulevard Federico Capurro. It's signed as ending a bit shy. So add End http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.446751&lon=-56.386803

I could extend the route by 0.23mi as suggested but there is no junction. I could extend it by another 0.13mi - or just leave as-is.

*add OldRN11_E http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.443095&lon=-56.384140 ?

No need for this wp.

RN73:
*GIS shows 73 (locally maintained) continuing east to CnoArr http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.843659&lon=-55.221362 (an unsigned nationally maintained branch of 93). It's not signed there but neither is it signed at RN37.

The extension is also indicated on OSM but GM ends it at RN37. Keep as-is.

RN76:
*CamCar has no signs; delete and add PrePasoSev http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.265711&lon=-56.307067

Your PrePasoSev location is at a bridge, not at a junction. Moving to the houses east of it.

RN79:
*I can't find any shields on either locally maintained section, so it should only run from RN11_E -> RN11 to RN78_N -> RN78

OSM + GM indicate the route. Keep as-is and put it onto the list with RN25, RN42, RN46, RN52 and RN55.

RN84:
*GIS shows the south end at End http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.781567&lon=-56.091599 and I can't find any signs south of there, so add that and delete RN102

There is no junction. Keep as-is.

*GIS shows the north end at RN74 and I can't find any signage north of there, so delete +X01 and RN75

yep, only indicated on GM but not OSM. Truncated.

RN88:
*I can't find any signs for 88 other than at the west end (where it's signed for Tapia), and it's all locally maintained. Most importantly, there are no signs in Migues. GIS shows a gap, with the east end of the west section just north of Tapia. So maybe it makes sense to end it at End http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-34.560656&lon=-55.749993 (and delete CalE).

OSM + GM indicate the route. Keep as-is and put it onto the list with RN25, RN42, RN46, RN52, RN55 and RN79.

RN106:
*I can't find any signs for locally maintained 106 south of RN54, and signs there only point north. So delete everything after RN54 (and reverse direction?)

OSM + GM indicate the route. Keep as-is and put it on the list with RN25, RN42, RN46, RN52, RN55, RN79 and RN88.

I'll have another look into data check but right now everything looks (technically) fine.

Any further comments or can I active the system?

The first system in South America will be activated with the next site update.
