TN: US 11/70 in Downtown Knoxville

I drove US 11/70 through part of downtown Knoxville yesterday and discovered after getting home that US 11/70 has been moved onto a new routing between the Kingston Pike/Neyland Dr intersection (here: https://goo.gl/maps/JF1Djmb9BSL2) and Hall of Fame Dr/Magnolia intersection (here: https://goo.gl/maps/QDUiJYtRzbt). I did not take any photos, but the Google street view imagery along Neyland Dr matches what I saw.

US 11/70 EB turns south/east off of Kingston Pike onto Neyland Dr (which is not signed as TN 158) and follows Neyland along the river to the complicated exit at Hall of Fame Dr (https://goo.gl/maps/HugocDQhLz92). US 11/70 exits Neyland and heads north on Hall of Fame Dr (https://goo.gl/maps/YWCFQAzcdUr) to Magnolia (https://goo.gl/maps/vNxjxsmPTaz) where it rejoins the existing routing on Magnolia.

The TDOT signage for US 11/70 WB appears to match the change of routing for US 11/70.

Because of the location, this would likely be city of Knoxville signage, not TDOT.

That said, AASHTO approved the change in their May 2014 route committee meeting, though TDOT still has yet to update their maps.
