There is also a noav QS parameter that will bypass the Algorithm Visualization selection panel.
Nothing changes when I load with or without noav. Even after browser restart (clearing cache + cockies). Is it - by accident? - the default now?

The initial load would be the same, but with noav, you should not be presented with the algorithm selection panel after you load a graph.
