AZ: AZ 99 truncation

Arizona State Route 99's southern end is about 15 miles south of Winslow, yet TM shows it continuing to the boundary of Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Can this be truncated? I have provided three references below, two of which are official state DOT sources. Additionally, on the satellite view of Google Maps, one can see where the pavement changes colors from gray to black.

Well that's certainly an arbitrary location for end of state maintenance.

But indeed you are correct, update truncating AZ 99 is submitted and should be reflected live on the site in roughly 24 hours.
