TN: TN15 in Frankewing?
« on: July 09, 2019, 01:56:09 pm »
Recently I drove down Old US64/McBurg Rd. just east of I-65 Exit 14 and came across a TN15 sign on it in the eastbound direction just before it crosses under US64.  Does this small segment belong in the database, like the other little TN15 near Memphis?

Interesting...does it look relatively new? The state does not maintain that road, according to the 2018 functional classification maps of Giles County and Lincoln County. TN 15 officially follows US 64 there, but it's unsigned except for mileposts.

Nothing about the sign stood out to me, except that it was in an unexpected place.  It looked like any other TN state highway sign with the state map at the bottom.  I wish I had taken a picture, since Streetview hasn't captured it.  Sounds like it doesn't belong there.

GMSV was updated in 2023, and there's no evidence of signs on that segment.
