VA: US 58 ALT BUS (Norton)
« on: May 21, 2022, 11:40:26 am »
Was there ever any discussion about adding this route to the HB?  (Either way, the VA283 label on US23BusNor should be changed as that seems to be a secret designation.)

Yes - https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=133.msg8134#msg8134

Consensus was not reached so it remains out.

With Old MD 450 Signed and in TM, should OLD US 58 ALT in Norton be in TM?  Has been signed for about 25 years.  One potential difference is that technically Old 450 is still in the Maryland State Highway System (as 450B).

Old MD 450 is why I started a separate thread on the signed US 58 ALT sections near Dryden.

Having stated that, I guess after my trips to Norton that I would be fine with making US 58 ALT BUS just be on the route of VA 283 meaning that it would only exist from US 23 BUS to US 23/US 58 ALT and not bother extending it further west.
