UPDATE: There is a consistent signing of BUS 51 in plover
and POINT!!!EDIT: RAW photos of the route over 2 days -

WisDOT replaced-in-kind the EXIT 161 signs during construction over the summer and it still has Business 51 present (smaller "BUSINESS" font). There are regular trailblazer signs along Division (including the roundabout at Northpoint Dr from each direction except NB) and Church Streets. I have no idea why they've returned, but they're state standard uni-signs. The Post Road section doesn't seem any different, except they trimmed down the signage at McDill Ave (HH) and 54/B.
Take a glance at the
updated maps from this year.
The locally controlled business routes are
gone (where an urban zone is overlayed) or marked as county or local road (otherwise) (i.e. Platteville, Verona, Columbus, Burlington, Beaver Dam, Wittenberg, Mineral Point, Eau Claire, Superior, etc.).
The remaining routes (Plover/Whiting and the Wausau Area) do show up as red with BUS 51 icons.
My argument against removing US51B Point despite it still being signed is your other locally controlled BRs remained in the database even though they (now) are missing from the county maps. They should also be removed. (my $.02, your call)
WisDOT did extensively revise the design of the maps this year.
