TM SERVER MOVE AND OS UPGRADES 2018-12-17 and 2018-12-18

This thread will contain updates about the server move and OS upgrades I started today.  So far, we've bumped up a minor version number in the operating system with apparent success, and now an update to about 400 installed software packages is in progress.  To this point, only quick reboots have been necessary.

The next step is a more major OS upgrade, which I plan to attempt this evening.  If that hits any major snags, we'll be offline until I can get to the physical machine on Tuesday morning.  Ideally, it should again just be a few quick reboots.

FreeBSD 11.2 seems to be good with the updated installed packages.  On to the upgrade to 12.0 now.

The upgrade to 12.0 has not been smooth.  The server is in its new home and it up and running, but is in a half-upgraded state for the moment.  There is likely to be additional downtime this afternoon as I attempt to complete the server upgrade.  There are likely some thing not working quite right for now, but please hold trouble reports until the upgrade process completes.

I believe we are back.  The site and DB look good.  I'm going to run a site update to make sure nothing changed that would affect that process.
