The best part about this truck route is that the Boot Rd bridge over Amtrak has a weight limit on it. (see
Posted and Bonded Web Viewer)
As a result, from what I could see on GSV and the
PennDOT VideoLog, the route is now detoured along US 30, PA 100, and US 202.
The Boot Rd Bridge is not anticipasted to be rehabiliatated until the
early 2020s.
This is also the case for the
US 30 BUS/US 322 bridge over Brandywine Creek in Downingtown. There is a separate US 322 ALT TRUCK here that is concurrent with US 30 BUS ALT TRUCK.
Personally, I am leaning towards the following:
1. Remove US 322 TRUCK (Downingtown). Right now this is only posted along US 30 BUS and the detour as US 322 TRUCK DETOUR. It is not posted along Quarry Rd and Boot Rd or the normal eastern end at US 322.
We can bring it back if it comes back fully in the 2020s once the Boot Rd bridge is rehabilitated.
2. Due to the confusion with US 322 TRUCK (Downingtown), leave out the US 322 ALT TRUCK route as well. This route is 100% concurrent with US 30 BUS ALT TRUCK as I see it anyway.
Please let me know of your thoughts.
UPDATE (11-11-2018): After sleeping on this, I am thinking the following:
1. Add US 322 ALT TRUCK to the current US 322 TRUCK (Downingtown) (all as US322TrkDow). I would truncate US 322 TRUCK (Downingtown) on its east end to the US 30/US 30 BUS interchange.
2. US 30 BUS ALT TRUCK (will be in TM as US30BusTrkDow) would be put in as normal along with the PA 282 ALT TRUCK routes I found.
