Just discovered a shaping point that is in both US-421 & US-221 that can be converted over to a normal point @ http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=36.243514&lon=-81.534020

US-421:
+x80 -> AccRd

US-221:
+x70 -> AccRd

GMSV image of the street blade there proving it has the name of "Access Road".
