I am leaving the NC 111 (
https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=4224.0) point and NC 11 (
https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=4226.0) point information in their separate threads.
1. The shaping point east of SilCityRd should be replaced by a visible point at
BonCarRd (Bonlee Carbonton Rd). Visible points in between at Goldston Glendon Rd and Haw Branch Rd may also be useful for shaping purposes.
2. The shaping point east of WooRd should be replaced by a visible point at
PlaRd (Plank Rd).
3. OldUS1 should be
CarSt_S or WicSt_E. (also affects US 1 BUS (Sanford))
4. BroRd should be
BroRd_E.
5. The shaping point northeast of BroRd should be replaced with a visible point at
Buckhorn Rd or nearby
Salem Church Rd.
6. The second shaping point east of CorRd should be replaced with a visible point at
Christian Chapel Church Rd.
7. I recommend replacing FoxRidRd with
Glen Laurel Rd (GlenLauRd) to the west.
8. I recommend adding
Buffalo Rd (BufRd) to cut down on distance between points (would be over 8 miles from GlenLauRd to NC 96).
9. NC39 should be recentered due to a roundabout that was recently built here.
10. A point should be added at
Woodard's Dairy Rd (WooDaiRd) as the route all but goes out of tolerance here.
11. The shaping point west of NC 581 should be replaced with a visible point at
Exum Rd.
12. OldRalRd should be replaced with nearby
AirBlvd (Airport Blvd).
13. The shaping point east of US 301 should be replaced with a visible point at
Webb Lake Rd.
14. NC124_W needs to be badly recentered.
15. NC43_W should be
NC43_N.
16. NC43_E should be NC43_S and recentered. (Note that NC124_E on NC 43 should just be NC124.)
17. I think that FoxLn should be made hidden.
18. US64_E should be US64(494). US64 back in Asheboro should be US64(349). (I would go no-build here if I-87 was more imminent.)
19. NC142 should be
NC142_W.
20. I recommend adding a point at Johnny Mitchell Rd as the route all but goes out of tolerance here.
21. NC561_S should be
NC561_E. (also affects US 13)
22. I recommend adding a point at
Rockpile Rd and Eugene Freeman Rd as the route all but goes out of tolerance in this area.
23. The following unused alternate labels may be removed: NC222 NC22_E NC22_W NC55_S NC903 US264A_E US264A_W US64A US64_W WARDR
NC 124:1. NC42_W needs to be badly recentered.
2. The shaping point west of NC111 should be replaced with a visible point at St Lewis Rd.
3. The immediate shaping points east and west of NC 122 should be removed.
4. The shaping point northeast of US 258 should be replaced with a visible point at
Eagles Rd (EagRd).
