Should NC 561 be following Short St between its US 258 and NC 305 concurrencies?

It sure looks like it. It is signed that way southbound. Northbound, there is a "TO" banner on the NC 561 shield, but that is likely a mistake. The Northampton county map shows Short Street as state maintained, though it doesn't show a shield.

Short St was explicitly labeled as SR 1112 on county maps through 2000 and posted in 2009 GMSV as such at NC 305 (latest view available), despite NC 561 postings similar to today's.

NCDOT website shows SR 1112 as non-existent in Northampton County currently and labels Short St as part of NC 561 on gis maps.  Cannot find a DE memo making the change.

I changed NC 561 to run on Short St.

I think that NC 561 should have had an updates entry.
