WA: US 12 Realignment west of Walla Walla

The AARoads forum reports that the entire realignment, between Nine Mile Hill and Wine Valley Golf Club, opened earlier this month. At some zoom levels, OSM shows the new alignment as under construction. But zoom in some more levels, and it is shown as completed. Other online mapping in our Waypoint Editor, such as HERE Normal Day, also shows it as completed. Ditto Google Maps, which is not included in the WE menu.

Yesterday I drove US 12 between the Tri-Cities and Clarkston. I can confirm that the realignment west of Walla Walla (except the part between US 730 and Nine Mile Hill, which hasn't yet started) is complete, and US 12 signage and traffic follow the new alignment.It's time to update the HB accordingly.

This re-clinches for me all of US 12, from Washington state to Detroit.

Oh boy, I hadn't been following this project at all and didn't realize that it was complete until I was checking AARoads earlier today. I'll spend some time tomorrow updating this part of US 12.

For those who have not traveled this new segment (myself included), I've added *OldUS12_W and *OldUS12_E at either end of the new bypass so you can easily indicate that you haven't clinched this section of the route.
