CZE: I20 Plzeň
« on: May 25, 2021, 12:50:16 pm »
A new I20 section was opened. It seems that I20 + E49 are signed concurrent to II231 via the eastern city bypass now. OSM does not yet indicate this. I need to check it again in a few days to avoid confusion.

Field check: I20 and E49 are signed via the new northern road southbound/eastbound till the roundabout with II231 but there are no new signs from here to the junction with I26. It is just II231 and II233 northbound, and simple "Praha" signs without numbering southbound.
Driving northbound, I20 and E40 are still signed westbound at the junction with I26.
OSM indicates I20 concurrent to I27 from the junction with the new road southbound.
The new road is open but there are still roadworks. I guess that the new signs have been put into place for the new road but the signs at the adjacent roads have not yet been replaced.

I'll relocate I20 and E29 concurrent to I27 now and add a I20 stub from I27 to II231.

I need to revisit this in a few months again.

Plzeň is mainly covered by 2019 GSV only. There is some October 2022 GSV indicating E49 via the old route, e.g. at I20/I27 junction downtown.

So, I still need to wait for better recent GSV coverage.
