DEU-BY: B300 Weichenried bypass
« on: October 08, 2024, 01:16:21 pm »
The 900m long bypass was first put into service westbound from Mid August to Mid September, then closed again. It's now fully in service since 2024-09-30 (source).

While the alignment is off by less than 100m, I do minimum need to add a wp for the new grade-separated junction.
Should I also add wps for the transition to the old alignment? Would any TM traveler consider the new bypass to be reclinched?

Still curious if anyone would bother about this realignment.
