It looks as if MS 819 is signed.  h/t from jbnv's Flickr:

I took a few minutes and compiled from my travels over the last few years which hidden routes are signed. It may not be everything, but it's what I've seen. This should help with the signed hidden routes.

706 Sidon (both ends)
713 Robinsonville (Freeway signage at the I-69/MS 304 split at the north end, Begin State Maintenance at the south end). I-69 overlaps from the Tunica County line to MS 304.
722 Pope (signed on US 51; end state maintenance on west end)
725 Batesville (both ends)
726 Tutwiler (both ends)
727 Oakland (both ends)
729 Grenada (both sides... finally)
731 Kosciusko (south end barely at MS 19/35; north end is only end state maintenance sign at 4-way stop at Huntington St and Natchez St).
732 Charleston (signed at MS 35 end; end state maintenance sign only at railroad tracks on east end)
735 Kosciusko (all four ends of the two piece route)
741 S of Kosciusko (both ends. The north end is on Ridge Rd at the gas facility)
743 Greenwood (both ends barely)
744 Greenwood (I saw the west end signed only at the end of state maintenance.)
745 Kilmichael (both ends)
762 Ingomar (signed at MS 15; end state maintenance sign at other end)
763 Maben (both ends)
765 Cumberland (signed at MS 50; signed as To MS 50 on the Trace)
766 Saltillo (I saw the MS 145 end signed only)
772 Algoma (both ends)
782 Mantee (both ends)
784 Walthall (both ends)
786 Columbus AFB (signed at US 45)
788 Artesia (signed at US 45A; end state maintenance sign on other end)
789 Columbus (I only saw signs at US 45)
791 Columbus (signed at both ends). I drove it two weeks ago.
792 Crawford (both ends)

802 Alligator (both ends)
806 Isola (both ends)
814 Greenville (signed at US 82)
816 Inverness (both ends)
818 Cruger (signed at US 49E; haven't checked west end lately)
819 Hermanville (signed as noted upthread)
822 Vicksburg (west end at I-20 & Clay St unsigned. Signed at MS 27 and at the east end at the end of state maintenance at Bovina).
824 Anguilla (both ends)
826 Rolling Fork (both ends)
830 Bentonia (both ends) Partially overlaps MS 433 in town; but MS 830 is not nearly as well signed compared to MS 433.
835 Tchula (both ends)
836 Lexington (both ends)
850 Wesson (both ends)
854 Lizelia (both ends)
857 Canton Nissan area (both ends)
859 Canton Nissan area (both ends)
860 Canton Nissan area (both ends)
888 Morton (signed at MS 13; end state maintenance sign at park line)
895 Toomsuba (both ends)

902 Burns (both ends)
930 Natchez (both ends)

789 had signage at MS 791's south end, as of last year.

Good to see the Nissan-area signs are posted; I couldn't find any of them back in 2017-18.

Took advantage of some low-hanging fruit and added the (signed) 6xx routes this evening.

MS 895: The waypoint labeled NorDr needs to be changed to US11/80. NorDr (Northshore Dr) is the county's street name for MS 895.

Any chance Mississippi state routes make it to preview stage by the last week of January?
I'm going to Memphis, for that last week, and hoping to start clinching routes in those Mississippi suburbs.

I also have a strong interest in helping in whatever way I can to get usams into preview by early January.  I'm going to be doing some more METAL project publicity early in 2023 and would like to be able to have the next set of graph archives with all U.S. state highway systems at least in preview status.

Had today off and wound up using most of it to take a bite out of usams.  Building off of the research done earlier by mapmikey and rlee, plus taking advantage of more recent GMSV imagery which shows a few additional routes as signed, I have added all of the remaining MS 7xx-9xx routes that are signed, as well as some corrections mentioned in this thread over the past year.  I'll address a few specific comments below:

MS43A:
This route has exactly one sign near its northern terminus, but is not officially recognized by MSDOT (and locally maintained), which is most likely why it is not currently in the HB (as well as the fact that there is only the one sign, which is arguably not enough to make it worth for inclusion). It is signed on street blades as "HWY 43A." The waypoint for it on US84 is FroSt, which would indicate that it will not be added. However, the waypoint for it on MS43Arm is MS43A, which would indicate the contrary.

If the decision is made to include MS43A, then:
US84:
FroSt > MS43A

If MS43A is to be excluded, however, then:
US84:
FroSt > Hwy43A

MS43Arm:
MS43A > Hwy43A

I struggled with this one when I was developing the MS 43 list.  That 43A shield has existed in Silver Creek for decades (I recall it from when I was stationed in Mississippi 20+ years ago), but I have found zero evidence that it is a state route...not even a locally maintained state route.  This is why I excluded it.  I'll relabel the MS 43 point to Hwy43A, but I'm leaving the US 84 point as-is because the road is named Front Street in Silver Creek.

713 Robinsonville (Freeway signage at the I-69/MS 304 split at the north end, Begin State Maintenance at the south end). I-69 overlaps from the Tunica County line to MS 304.

So with this one, 713 officially exists from US 61 to the Tunica/Desoto County line where I-69 officially takes over (and has BEGIN/END I-69 signs).  I've opted to go with this length.

722 Pope (signed on US 51; end state maintenance on west end)

Where did you find the End State Maintenance sign?  GMSV does not show it.  And while imagery shows a very distinct pavement change at the rail crossing, MDOT data and maps indicate the west end is further west near Pecan Street.

MS 718 just to the north in Courtland appears to be a similar case.  Pavement suggests at the railroad while maps/data indicate further west.

Pending further info, I'm putting both at the railroad.

789 Columbus (I only saw signs at US 45)

GMSV shows signs where it makes the turn off of Artesia Rd, though the western end at MS 791 is unsigned.

806 Isola (both ends)

Are you sure on this one?  GMSV doesn't snow anything (including 2022 GMSV on the south end) and MDOT shows it as locally maintained.

With this evenings push, every signed route in northern Mississippi (basically the top 2 tiers of counties) has been added to TM.

A few notes and requests, while cleaning up my rough draft usams list file entries, to plug into my main list file ahead of usams going into preview:

MS 39: Request point at Jac[kson]St in DeKalb. While that happens to be just north of the Kemper County courthouse, I turned west there to connect to unnumbered Old Jackson Rd., which I took to the next destination on my itinerary.

MS 63/57: Request point at Laf[ayette]Ave. in Leakesville. I turned back east near the county courthouse, not sure how far west of Lafayette Ave. The other point in Leakesville is on the west side of town. It would be nice to have a point on the east side of town too.

MS 145 (Tupelo) and US 45. at exit to Saltillo: US45Sal => US45_Sal in MS 145 file, and corresponding changes in US 45 file (MS145Sal => MS145_Sal, and several other MS145* points)? AIUI, points like MS145Sal indicate that the intersecting highway is a separate branch of MS145, while MS145_Sal would indicate just one of multiple intersections with MS145. See https://travelmapping.net/devel/manual/wayptlabels.php#disambiguation

I also have seven draft entries for 4xx and 5xx routes, which are not yet in the HB. I'll wait for those before adding usams entries to my list file.

I always mix up Isola and Inverness in my head. The MS 8xx route in Inverness is signed, Isola is not.

MS 713 doesn't reach US 61. End State Maintenance is at the start of the median east of MS 3.

MS 722: I'm sure I saw a State Maintenace sign at the railroad in Pope. I drove the Pope Crowder Rd from MS 35 east to Pope this past year.

So Froggie, are you aware of MS-304 Scenic Loop?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississippi_Highway_304#Scenic_route

https://goo.gl/maps/yTawyzhJkMRnwyAFA

Scenic Route MS 304 is described by MDOT as:
"The public road beginning at I-55 adjacent to the City of Coldwater, Mississippi; along the Coldwater-Arkabutla Road; along a public road which crosses the Arkabutla Dam; along the north side of the Dam to the Community of Eudora and connecting with MS 304; along MS 304 through the City of Hernando to I-55."

(I also still get a smile when I see one of my photos on Wikipedia.)

https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/6337

  • Added Oscar's point requests from last month and fixed labels on US 45 and MS 145.
  • Added MS 304 Scenic
  • Added the first batch of MS 4xx routes (through MS 430)

MS 713 doesn't reach US 61. End State Maintenance is at the start of the median east of MS 3.
https://maps.app.goo.gl/xhtEBgXxKgmbaD8S8

It's locally maintained, but officially exists out to US 61.  Given its importance, I'm leaving it.

One suggestion with MS304SceHer froggie:

US51_N -> US51

Only because it's not the end/beginning of a multiplex, and just a normal intersection with US-51.
