Oh, this thing (Github) is going to kill me.

I changed 10 files locally (GA1 through GA6, plus some bannered routes). I committed the change locally. I thought I had fetched origin this morning before I started on this, but it apparently failed. So when I fetch it now, I have my commit of 10 files, and a merge commit of 3400 or so files. And it won't let me push them.

Authentication failed. You may not have permission to access the repository or the repository may have been archived. Open options and verify that you're signed in with an account that has permission to access this repository.

What step am I missing?

These and many other Georgia state routes are largely concurrent with US routes. GA 4 in particular is concurrent with US 1, and at its south end US 23 and/or US 301, except for a short non-concurrent segment in Augusta. Are the changes you're making also being made to the concurrent routes, so that GA 4 stays in synch with those routes?

Per some discussions elsewhere, I've offered to pick up the system. I'm looking over the issues and working my way through things (trying to learn some of it, too.  ).

Is there anyone more experienced who can check that the changes are fine?

I could but I'm not very familar with US stuff... The very first pull does only contain usaga files and no files from active systems though.

Nah, only about 40 minutes or so away, though I rarely have reason to be in that area. I'll probably go pick it up someday along with the parts of GA 61 and 101 over there that I need.

WestRomeByp: Renamed to GA1Lp_S (I need to figure out if this is one route with the north/east Ga1Lp or a separate route)

I'm pretty sure they're eventually intended to be one route. Currently, though, per GIS shapefiles, this one is officially shown as SR 746 (though not signed as that, obviously), while the other one is the expected 1LO, with the two routes having separate mile markers.

My observations from last July: US 19/US 129/GA 11 have been relocated to the Glen Gooch Bypass east of the downtown then west along US 76/GA 515 back west to Murphy Hwy where US 19/129/GA 11 return to their routing head north.  There are no highway signs through the downtown streets (Cleveland St or Blue Ridge St) including US 129 Truck, which appears to be no more. Most all signage on US 76/GA 515 appears to have been replaced somewhat recently as part of the process of moving US 19/US 129/GA 11 to US 76 and the Gooch Bypass.

P.S. changes to US 19 and 129 files and deletion of US 129 Truck needs to be done as well.

Again looking at the GIS shapefile (available from here), GA11 is routed on the bypass around the west side of Gray along with US129; former GA11 through Gray is no longer on the state highway system.
