We have precedent (in a way):  the two Truck US 2 routes in St. Johnsbury, VT.  In this Westwego instance, one option would be _WWe and _Wes.

LA 602-2 has been extended north along Duck Port Rd from US 80 to VTR Airport Rd as shown on the DOTD right size maps. Fortunately, DOTD rebuilt the new section because it was barely paved or just gravel before.

I have some very high res bad nighttime photos if you need proof.

Yeah, it bothered me when Tim really started pushing _A _B _C in place of his original town suffix idea.
I much prefer the versatility of having both options available.

LA1:
- The unnamed bridge west of Larose doesn't have a point. Maybe call this AdamBlvd for the cross street?
Sure, I'll add that.

Quote
- Is SkiSt necessary as a waypoint? This is just a minor side street. This could probably be demoted to shaping point status or moved.
To keep LA 1 within tolerance and also to keep it separated from LA 308's trace, I determined that that point and the corresponding shaping point on 308 worked the best. I agree that a shaping point would suffice here, but since the location of the shaping point landed at an intersection with Skidmore St, I made it visible.

Quote
- Might be good to add a point at Plauche Rd (PlaRd) in Morganza to go along with the point on LA 3050. Similarly, LA 3050 should probably have a point at Callegan Rd (CalRd) to match LA 1/10.
I removed the PlaRd point on LA 3050 and replaced it with a point at CalRd.

I went with A/B/C/D on LA 18 & LA 541.

Thanks. Satellite images show the upgrade. I extended it.

First, a question: on https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/tree/master/hwy_data/LA/usala how do I access the routes after 1215?

The web interface is limited to 1,000 files. You can use the Github desktop application or open a desired file in the browser and rename the url.

I think LADOTD GIS is a good source for where routes end (per the RouteID field).

1: LA3151_W -> LA3151_S, LA3151_E -> LA3151_N (the direction it's signed leaving the route you're on is only used if there's an overlap; otherwise "The direction letter refers to the relative position of the intersection along the route whose file is being made.")
1: Bri -> Bur and move a bit southeast
1: ToOldLA1 -> OldLA1_S, OldLA1 -> OldLA1_N
1: GalBrg -> GalBr or CoteBlaBr -> CoteBlaBrg
1: why a point at 48thSt, a minor dead end not necessary for shaping?
1: PontOr -> CutOffBrg or CutOffBr
1: ValBri -> ValBr or ValBrg (or change other bridges to Bri?)
1: BolBr -> BolBrg?
1: per both GIS and RTP maps, LA655 and LA655Spr are gone (the former truncated to the bridge). But they were still signed in November 2018, so this needs field checking. If they are truly gone: LA655 -> MainSt, LA655Spr -> VacSt
1: StChaByp -> SCBPRd
1: add a point at CanBlvd in Thibodaux (still a major road, despite LA 20 bypassing it)
1: LA20_N -> LA20_E, LA20_S -> LA20_W
1: missing GSJ at PortBatRou (just south of I-10)
1: add AveG just north of I-10 (Great River Road turns east here)
1: LA987-2 -> FayeAve per GIS, RTP, and June 2019 GSV
1/US 190: move ToLA415 west as LA415, since this is a GSJ with a separate south/eastbound onramp
1: LA451_W -> LA451_N
1: per GIS and RTP, LA107_S -> CocRd, but it was still signed in May 2018 so needs field checking; if this is changed also LA107 -> LA107_S
1: add a point at PowRd, which is unsigned 498 Spur
1: ToLA8 -> LA8Spr (it's signed as LA 8 and inventoried as LA 8 Spur per GIS)
1: LA495_N -> LA491/495 (both are signed at this end, and GIS and RTP show 491 only)
1: LA493_S -> LA493_W
1: BayPieCut -> BPCORd?
1: US371/177 -> LA177

3191: extend south with 1 Business to LA6Bus?

2: US79Trk_S -> US79Byp_S: it's signed as TRUCK BY-PASS 79 and inventoried as 79 Bypass in GIS and RTP
2: KimRd -> PR57?
2: BuckGreRd -> PR63?
2: LA15/33 -> LA15/33_S?
2/US 165: GusPryRd -> GusRd?
2/US 165/US 425: add a point at MarSt in eastern Bastrop, which RTP shows as a planned state takeover
2: US165_N -> US165/138?
2althay: LA9_E -> LA9_N
2althay: US63/167 -> US63/167_N?

4: LA865_S -> LA865SWi, LA865_N -> LA865NWi
4: BecBayRd -> BeckBayRd
5 now ends at LA175_S according to GIS and RTP; this needs field checking

Not much to contribute, but AARoads user jbnv has photo proof of signage on LA 1266, from October 2018:

6: perhaps add a point at ChuSt (old US 171) in Many
6: LA6Bus/1 -> LA1/6Bus?

8 Spur at I-49(103) is partly signed (as 8 ) heading westbound, so should probably be added
8/I-49 needs a shaping point between 99 and 103 so it doesn't cross 1
8: LA1200_N -> LA1200_E
8: LA772 -> LA772_W
8: US84/772 -> US84/127? (better signed here)
8: US84_E -> US84/460?
8: LA126_N -> LA126_W, LA126_S -> LA126_E (no directional plates here, but 126 is more east-west as a whole, and is signed as such farther west)
8: OldLA8 -> *OldLA8 (no intersection here)
8: US425 -> US425/15

9: CarrRd -> PR723?
9: LA507_E -> LA507_N, LA507_W -> LA507_S
9: US80_E -> US80/151
9: US79/79Trk -> US79/79Byp
9: ForRd -> FR902

10: I doubt LaioRd is the correct name. Google shows it as the name for not just that short dead end but also for LA 10, and it has the looks of a TIGER error (LA10 somehow became LAIO).
10: add a point at the unsigned non-spur LA 77? it could be named ToLA77
10: LA420 -> LA420_W
10/US 61: LA965_N -> LA965_E, LA965_S -> LA965_W
10/US 61: 1263 and 3057 are gone according to May 2018 signage, GIS, and RTP. So LA3057* -> ComSt* and LA10/1263 -> LA10_E.
10: between US51_S and LA1058 is LA3272 (per GIS). It is a recent addition, not yet signed in May 2018. Recommend adding as RivRd and waiting on a field check.
10: LA16/25* -> LA16*? 25 is north-south
10: RioGraAve_S -> RioGraSt_S
10vil: UniPkwy -> LA467 per GIS and signage
10vil: LA745_S -> LA745_W, LA745_N -> LA745_E
10vil: LA182_N -> LA182_W? (there are no directional plates here and 182 is more east-west in general, and is still signed east-west at I-10)
10SprGre's west end is now at this bridge according to GIS and RTP. It was still signed in April 2018, so this needs field checking.

13: MapAve_E -> MapSt_E

14: AlaAve -> AlaSt
14: add BroSt in Erath (RTP shows this is a planned addition)

15: where does the name OldRAuxDam come from?
15: does FLBraArpt exist? rename AngSeedGra?

16: LA1030 -> CocRd per GIS, RTP, and June 2019 GSV.
16: where does the SkeClubRd name come from?
16: LA577_W -> LA577_S, LA577_E -> LA577_N (no directional plates here, but 577 as a whole is north-south)

18: I-910 -> US90Bus

20: US90_W -> US90(189), US90_E -> US90(194)
20: LA3107 -> TalAve per GIS, RTP, and October 2018 GSV
20: LA308_W -> LA308_N, LA308_E -> LA308_S? (given the overall route of 308, despite no directional plates here)

21: LA3124 -> ColSt per GIS, RTP, and GSV
21: LA438_W -> LA438, LA438_E -> MainSt per GIS, RTP, and November 2018 GSV

23: HerRd -> LakeHerRd
23: is there any reason to believe "Highway 11" refers to Parish Road 11? Anyway, there's no sign at the south end, so PR11_S -> JesBendDr? (which is signed there) and PR11_N -> Hwy11_N?
23: I-910_W -> US90Bus(7), I-910_E -> US90Bus(8)

24 has been truncated to LA3235 per GIS, RTP, and GSV. So remove LA1 from 24, and on 1, LA24 -> AveE?

25: MocHillRd -> MBHillRd
25: LA10/16 -> LA10/16_E?
25: LA430Spr -> LA430 (there's officially no spur here, and at this end it's signed as plain 430)

26: US190_E -> US190_S since it's signed north-south here?

27cam/82: SmiCir -> PR3148/3152?

28: LA121_W -> LA121_N, LA121_E -> LA121_S
28: GarBusRd -> PRsomething?
28: LA1_W -> US165Bus/1?
28: LA1_E -> LA1/28Bus?
28/US 167: LA107 -> LA1250, add point at LA107 underpass
28: US167_N -> US167/3100?
28busale: LA1_N -> US165Bus/1?
28busale: US165Bus_N -> US165Bus/1208-3?
28busale: LA28_E -> I-49 and continue east along LA 1 to LA28_E http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=31.305945&lon=-92.443053; 1 and 28busale also need a new point at 9thSt http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=31.304886&lon=-92.444260 to get rid of the erroneous overlap with US 167 and 28

29: LA95_N -> LA95/1174?
29: LA1174 -> LA1174_N
29: US167/10* -> US167* since 10 is east-west?

30's new north/west end is at South Boulevard per GIS and RTP (it's impossible to tell from GSV since there weren't any shields north of there). So remove LA73_W (and LA73_E -> LA73), and maybe add SouthBlvd (unless we treat this as part of the I-10 interchange).

31: ColJDebPkwy -> JeffDeBPkwy?
31: CypIslHwy -> CypIslExt
31: LA336-2 -> RefSt per GIS, RTP, and GSV

33: GIS and RTP show LA828 -> WardChaRd, but January 2019 GSV still shows 828, so this needs field checking

34: LA1228_S -> LA1228_E, LA1228_N -> LA1228_W
34: move PorRd northeast
34: add LakDr at Womack (what OSM and Google call Wyatt Road), a planned state highway per RTP

35: US90/3076 -> US90_E per GIS, RTP, and May 2018 GSV

36/59: add LA435 at Main Street in Abita Springs
36: LA59/435 -> LA59_S
59: LA36/435 -> LA36_E
36: AirRd -> STRegAir?

39: PR15* -> Hwy15*? I can't find any evidence it's a parish road number
39: PerRdD -> PerRd

40: RaiAve_S -> ERaiAve_S (US 51 is West Railroad Avenue)

41: OldLA41Spr -> HicSt?

42: add a point at StaLn, planned as an extension of 3064 per RTP
42: LA427_W -> LA427_N, LA427_E -> LA427_S - but RTP and GIS show the latter is no longer state maintained, so this needs field checking
42: US61_N -> US61/948
42: LA930 is gone per RTP, but still appears in GIS (!) and May 2019 GSV, so this needs field checking
42: add FirRd, planned for takeover as a state highway to Tickfaw State Park per RTP

43: according to GIS and RTP, LA10Spr and LA1042 are gone; this needs field checking
