In Bismarck, the travel mapping site has I-194 end at the first exit, the site needs to extend I-194 down two more exits, across the river.

Evidence? (Other than online maps, which disagree.)

FHWA's latest Interstate route log has North Dakota's I-194 at only 1.2 miles long. That indicates the south end is indeed at the first exit south of I-94, where we now have it.

I see it shown as a 1.20 mile route on that page.  The 5.3 miles is the combination of I-194 and ND 810.  Unless I'm missing something in my reading of that page.

Your reading is correct...a Mandan citizen "considers it" to be 5 miles.  The official figure is off to the right side...

Sounds right to me. Note that ND 810 is not in our HB, omitted because the route is unsigned.

I would disagree on that based on length of highway (recalling something a collaborator had told me in the past (9 years ago)). Collaborators please correct me if I'm wrong but was the threshold 5 or 10 miles?.

I'm not sure it matters what it was. It's more a case of whether or not yakra wants to add it.

True, we've been given a bit more leeway with usasf routes over here. Routes shorter than 5 miles have been added in NY, OH, and IN (possibly others) already, but it's up to the collaborator's judgment.

Right, I don't know what the rationale was for the length limit in CHM, but I see no need for a lower limit for a road that otherwise makes sense to add.  I don't know about about this example to have much of an opinion on it.

The lion's share of Bismark Expy is non-freeway. Doesn't make sense to add it.
