No. Sign is crap (total disregard for Irish standards - seems shoddily done to UK standards - so unlikely that the Highways Dept of County Donegal had any say), and not erected. It's just some stuff promoting the route (which looks like a good scenic route) and film shot near there, rather than permanent changes that are enacted.

Compare to the much more comprehensive conversion of Wolverhampton station (which had nothing to do with the film) to Wolverine station with more comprehensive signage, which was only temporary.

Unless and until it is enacted by the relevant authorities, and or signed more than just a couple of token signs (which it isn't even that!)...

I really have to question the wisdom of renaming a road after such a prominent member of the IRA. Seems it would just be really divisive.

It's Co Donegal - not naming stuff after violent Irish Nationalists like R2 is more divisive!

Which is why the UK style arrow suggests that they didn't even talk to the highways department and it's more that the tourism department spoke to the film's marketing team, who then provided the props.
