The eastern-most A64M wp MarLan should be MarLane or MarLn or A653.

Yes. Basically they built the upper-motorway/lower-local carriageway arrangement eastbound, but bodged the westbound to be a rollercoaster that's parts of one and parts of the other and parts half-way up instead.

The 'North East Urban Motorway' was meant to tie in here, with free-flowing slip roads onto the A64/A64(M), IIRC.
